Superstition Mountain Golf Homes for Sale
The Hall of Fame golfer and golf course architect Jack Nicklaus designed both courses at Superstition Mountain: Prospector Course and Lost Gold Course. Each course has its own distinct challenges and design:
- Prospector Course
Designed by Nicklaus and his son Gary, the par-72, 7,225 yard long Prospector Course features wide and friendly fairways that give players the opportunity to show off their long-drive skills. However, players must show great patience and control on the greens, as they’re among the fastest in the area.
- Lost Gold Course
Working alongside his son Jack Jr., Nicklaus designed Lost Gold Course to be a more strategic and slower-paced course than Prospector. Its smaller greens and dangerous bunker placement mean every shot counts, and the added challenge makes the course a favorite among residents.
Living at Superstition Mountain
In addition to being a world-class Scottsdale-area golf property, Superstition Mountain also features a private community with luxury homes on more than 930 acres of desert landscape. The club offers four distinct residential neighborhoods to choose from: Club Village, Prospector Village, Canyon View Estate, and Petroglyph Estates.
The homes in each neighborhood have western-inspired architecture than blend in seamlessly with the surrounding area’s natural rugged and beautiful desert landscape.
